On Friday, October 18, Kevin Pho, M.D., founder of kevinmd.com, and Susannah Fox, associate director of digital strategy at the Pew Internet Project visited Einstein.
In two insightful presentations, they discussed the rapidly changing communications landscape and expectations and behaviors of patients in a digital and increasingly mobile age. They also explored the opportunities that social media provides to engage patients – and the responsibilities doctors have to create or curate content that improves patient understanding and decision-making.
