Physicians aren’t necessarily technophobic. On the contrary, given the right device — one that’s easy to use and secures information at the same time, for instance — they’re quite willing to give it a go.
That’s been the experience of Ian Shakil, co-founder of Augmedix, which provides a Google Glass application for hands-free capturing of clinical documentation. The company recently received $3.2 million in venture funding.
